Appointments
Monday through Saturday with evening hours several
nights a week as follows:
Monday & Tuesday: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Telephone Consultations
The office telephones are answered from 8 a.m.
until close on weekdays and 8:30 a.m. to Noon on Saturdays. We will
return your call within one hour during these times. Please call
during daytime office hours for appointments, routine questions
and prescription refills.
After-Hours Care and
Emergency Service
When our office is closed, our answering
service will be able to reach the on-call doctor in an emergency.
To reach our answering service, dial our regular office number (412-683-5534) and stay on the line
until your call is answered. We utilize an after hours nurse advice
service at Children’s Hospital Nurse Triage Advice Center. If you
have an urgent need to speak with a medical professional, a nurse
will speak with you and will generally be able to help you. If the
nurse is unable to assist you, he or she will page the pediatrician
on call for our group. After-hours physician coverage for telephone
calls and hospitalized patients is shared among other Children’s
Community Pediatrics pediatric practices.
Billing and Insurance
Our billing is centralized and handled through
Children's Community Pediatrics' administrative
office. If you have a specific question regarding
your bill, please call 1-888-857-7646.
Referrals
If your insurance plan requires a referral for
services outside of our primary care office, please call in advance
and our staff will assist you.

If you would like to meet our doctors and staff,
please call the office to schedule a courtesy visit.
