Appointments
Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to Noon
Telephone Consultations
Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.
is set aside so parents or older patients can call and speak with
our medical staff about their non-urgent medical or developmental
issues or concerns.
After-Hours Care and
Emergency Service
When our office is closed, our answering
service will be able to reach the on-call doctor in an emergency.
To reach our answering service, dial our regular office number,
412-563-6151, and stay on the line until your call is answered.
We utilize an after hours nurse advice service at Childrens
Hospital Nurse Triage Advice Center. If you have an urgent need
to speak with a medical professional, a nurse will speak with you
and will generally be able to help you. If the nurse is unable to
assist you, he or she will page the pediatrician on-call for our
group.
Billing and Insurance
Our billing is centralized and handled through
Children's Community Pediatrics' administrative office. If you have
a specific question regarding your bill, please call 1-888-857-7646.
Referrals
If your insurance plan requires a referral for
services outside of our primary care office, please call five to
seven days in advance and our staff will assist you.
