High Over the Allegheny, the New Children’s Is Coming to Life
Excitement is building among Children’s physicians, staff members and researchers about the move to our new Lawrenceville campus. The outside work is done: Each structure has been topped off, and the interior construction and renovation in our clinical, research, family and office areas expands every day. The new Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC will open officially on May 2, 2009—the day on which all of our inpatients will be moved from Oakland to the new hospital.
