| Practice Specifics
Appointments We have convenient hours and try to be as accommodating as possible. We know that everyone's time is valuable. We try to keep the "waiting room" time to a minimum, but emergencies and complicated problems sometimes come up which cause delays. If this should happen, please be patient and accept our apologies. Periodic routine visits are important. Much of our time with our patients and their families is focused on the preventive and instructive aspects of medicine. Children are seen frequently during the first two years of life, while older children, teenagers and young adults are seen annually. During these routine visits, we, along with the parents, deal with the medical, social and psychological growth of our patients. Protective immunizations are administered in accordance with the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics. After-Hours Care and Prospective parents often find it helpful to meet with pediatricians prior to the birth of their first child.
