| Practice Overview
Established in 1970 in the Bloomfield section of Pittsburgh, Children's Community Pediatrics – GIL is a group of experienced pediatricians who adhere to the highest medical standards. We are dedicated to providing warm and comprehensive medical care for infants, children, adolescents and young adults ages birth through 18. Our physicians and attentive staff are understanding and supportive as we assist parents with the care of their sick children and provide advice about their children's health and development. Keeping current with the latest information is a priority. In 1996 GIL partnered with Children's Hospital of
Pittsburgh and four other well-established community pediatric practices
to create Children's Community Pediatrics. Children's Community
Pediatrics – GIL now has nine pediatricians who provide services
in the East Liberty area of Pittsburgh and Murrysville in Westmoreland
County. Our staff provides the high quality pediatric
and adolescent primary care that you would expect from a Children's
Hospital affiliate. In addition to our experience with acute and
chronic medical problems, our medical staff is educated and trained
to provide expertise in many areas.
